I like how you connected Green Living with geography! This site has interesting information on it. I thought the information about what BPAs are was helpful.
Thanks for your comment, Debbie. I thought the BPA information was interesting and everyone should be away of this. I can't tell you how many times I've heated my food up in plastic containers.
When I taught Health in high school last year, I gave them so much information about dangers of plastics, make-up, food additives, etc. it was amazing that the kids really had no knowledge of all of the potentially dangerous and hazardous substances there are out in the world. Marketing and advertising of products, leaves out all of the dangers because there is so much money to be made. Health is not in the equation. My husband is from Sweden and their philosophy is keep the people healthy so that we do not have to pay so much money in health care costs. Since they are Socialists, it is very important that their citizens are informed obout how to stay healthy. Everything is different there. The animals they eat are healthy, the water and air are clean, the food is not full of pesticides and additives. I'm not saying Solialism is the anser, but the government could do a better job at helping consumers get better products and have more regulations on the producers in America
Great blog! Checked out the products featured at the CES show, some cool stuff, but pretty expensive for the average consumer.
