Trees go wandering forth in all directions with every wind, going and coming like ourselves, traveling with us around the sun two million miles a day, and through space heaven knows how fast and far! John Muir
Welcome to my blog! I've created a space that focuses on the geography of our beautiful world. Please take a moment to explore. Ciao, Marianne
I really like this quote. I have never heard it before. I also like the picture that goes with it.
ReplyDeleteThis picture was taken on a family vacation last year. I was amazed by the root structure.
ReplyDeleteMarianne, that is one cool picture of that tree, it looks like my family tree, just kidding. One of my favorites is aspen by the way they grow together in bunches and by the way they shimmer in the light with a light breeze, especially after a light rain. My dad and his family used to call this tree quacking aspen, seriously. Some of John Wayne's western flicks used to be filmed in late summer to catch the changing color of leaves on trees such as aspen.
